Mano Murthy did it again

It’s been 5 days since I saw the movie, but the title song of Amrithadhare is still playing on and on in my head. As far as I’m concerned, it’s going to be one of those classic songs.

Nee amrithadhare
KoTi janma jothe gaathi
Nee amrithadhare
Ihaku paraku sangathi
Nee illavaadare naa hege baaLali?

About the movie… as usual, some scenes are outrageous, but overall, it’s a good movie to watch with a good message in the end. One of the high points is how Amitabh Bachchan figures in the story.

    ಅದನನೇ ಹೀಗೆ ಬರೀಬೋದಿತತ.. koTi janma jothegaathi

not trying to split the hair.. but effect (unintended?) is hilarious :)

  2. *note* for those who can’t read kannada script
koti = monkey in kannada … (soft t)

so in efffect, the second line reads…
“monkey – the partner of my life” :))

but, the actual pronounciation is koTi (T as in Tea)

  4. @Pradeep : Thanks for pointing out the hilarious and totally unintended snafu :-). And yes, it was a good movie and an amazing title song.
